Lace Front Wigs

One of the most natural looking wigs available on the market,today we look at how you put one on and how to wash and also remove the lace front wig.

How to put in a lace front wig
-Cleanse forehead with alcohol to remove any dirt that might the application
-Position the lace front wig as you are going to wear it. Use an eyebrow pencil to mark the lace at your hairline. Remove wig and cut the lace at the line you just drew.
--Wrap your hair,making it as flat as possible, follow by securing hair with bobby pins.
-Use a stocking cap to cover and keep the hair in place. The best positions for the bobby pins are above and below the ears, forehead, the center of the back of your head
-Apply a small amount of glue above the stocking cap. Apply using a small brush or a cotton swab. Allow the glue to dry for about 5-10 minutes. You can also use double stick lace front wig tape
-Place the lace section of your wig on your forehead hold it and pull the wig over the cap.
-Adjust using the seams at the ear
-Secure the wig using hair pins
-You can then use a scarf and tie around your lace front wig so that it will be set . Leave it for about an hour without touching your hair. (see this video below for more information)

How to wash your lace front wig

-Remove all glues and tapes from the wig and remove lace front wig from your head
-Try to wash the wig every 2 weeks
-Comb the tangles before you start washing your hair
-Fill a washbasin with cool water and some gentle shampoo. Submerge the wig into water for a few minutes, swish the wig gently in the water and then rinse it, removing all suds
-Follow by placing some conditioner in cool water in a wash basin.Submerge the wig into water for a few minutes, swish the wig gently in the water and then rinse it, removing all suds
-Shake wig and let water drip from it
-Place wig on the wig stand and allow to dry completely

How to remove your lace front wig

-If you used glue, place some glue remover on a brush allowing it to soak in. If you use tape, remove the pieces. Remove the hair pins and take off the wig from back to front. Any left over glue on your face can be removed with glue remover but any residue on the lace can be removed with acetone.
